Description

The Beacon180 HIRAMASA TUNE is a special edition of the famous Beacon180 popper, optimized specifically for Yellowtail Amberjack (Hiramasa) fishing. This version fully leverages the popper's features to offer unparalleled control over the movement distance and action.

With 180 mm in length and 70g (±2.0g) in weight, this floating popper is built to seduce the most aggressive Yellowtail Amberjack, combining a powerful acoustic action with controlled and precise movement.

Leveraging the popper's natural ability to vary the distance traveled based on the rod sweep's amplitude, the Beacon180 HT is versatile and lethal.

Features:

  • Controlled Dual Action: The lure excels in both the long jerk (long sweeping retrieve) for a deep, persistent call, and the short popping (brief, standard popping) for a more superficial, twitchy action. This versatility allows the angler to adapt the lure to the behavior of the school.

  • Floating Posture: It maintains a vertical floating posture of about 85 degrees, ensuring the face is always ready to "pop" and splash with minimal effort.

  • Made of hard expanded resin and equipped with a robust 1.8 mm through-wire, ensuring maximum reliability even against record-size Yellowtail Amberjack.

Tip: Adjust the weight of the hooks and split rings according to sea conditions (tide and current) to optimize the setup and maximize catch possibilities.
