DIRECT HUSTLER

Deps’ new Prop Bait is designed to harness the impact of a big bait at significant depths, where traditional swimbaits are difficult to use. The large body features a joint tail section with a Buzzjet-inherited propeller. Angled upwards, has an off-centered hole to prevent monotonous rotations. In addition to producing sounds when hitting the hook, vibrations, and flashes, the propeller transmits movement to the articulated part, causing it to wiggle slightly, making a difference on fish that tend to follow the lure and triggering their attack. Another advantage of the propeller is its ability to balance sinking and rising during the retrieve, allowing the Direct Hustler to maintain a perfect horizontal posture. This feature makes it perfectly compatible with super dead slow retrieve. It features a Wire Guard inherited from the Calling Hustler but with the advantage of being removable at will thanks to the same quick-release technology used for the new Highsider's lip. The presence of the guard allows you to retrieve the lure on bottom near obstacles, such as rocks, minimizing the chance of snagging. If you need to increase the sinking speed or maintain a specific depth more easily, you can attach a sinker directly to the eye at the end of the wire guard. The central and front hook eyes have built-in swivels that perfectly accompany the fish's movements during the fight, reducing missed hooks. The line eye is designed in a position that allows for increased depth-holding capability, and the rubber supplied in the package keeps the knot in place. The last important feature is the presence of a through-wire (for the front and central hook) that provides greater security even when targeting very strong and large fish.
