Description
KRO Slalom: High-Speed Diving Pencil
This lure was born from the need for a pencil jerkbait capable of withstanding high-speed retrieves without losing its balance. Originally conceived for large marine predators, Watanabe converted the concept, tailoring it specifically for bass fishing. The flat-side body generates a powerful water displacement. Thanks to its meticulous setting, the lure eliminates unwanted erratic movements, remaining stable even in rough water or during frantic retrieves. It maintains a sub-surface posture, working just below the surface to trigger strikes from hunting predators.

Main features
- Versatile action: excellent with linear retrieves, excels when animated with wide and fast jerks.
- Realistic details: meticulous reproduction of scales and head.
- Setting: equipped with BKK #2 hooks and #3 split rings to handle demanding fights.

Technical data
- Type: Slow Floating
- Length: 125mm
- Weight: 1.2oz

Swimming Action With a constant retrieve, the lure swims below the surface with a natural roll. The basic movement involves using the reel with short or long handle turns to create a stop-and-go effect. It responds perfectly to rod movements for sudden dives and rises, or for decisive jerks that exploit the flat sides to produce wide, realistic side-to-side glides, imitating a fleeing fish. Ideal for black bass, northern pike, and saltwater use.

Heat Warning: Avoid leaving the KRO Slalom exposed to direct sunlight in cars or overheated tackle boxes, especially during the summer. Internal air expansion due to heat can cause structural deformations or cracks.
