Variants SAKAMATA SHAD 4"
Description
The Sakamata Shad is a soft bait designed to perfectly imitate the escaping action of forage fish. Thanks to the fins (keels) positioned on both sides of the body, simply rigging it is enough to achieve a natural darting action that immediately triggers the predatory instinct of the black bass.
Its effectiveness is clear in various configurations: used weightless (no-sinker), it simulates the action of a bleak or baitfish escaping on the surface, darting and occasionally leaping out of the water. When used on the bottom, for example with a split shot or Carolina rig, the lure can be animated to mimic a fish that, having noticed a predator, suddenly dashes away from the bottom. This responsiveness is the true potential of the Sakamata Shad, easily triggering a strike.
The body, with its fluid and clean lines, offers low water resistance, facilitating a sinuous movement and expanding the inertial glide. This design also allows for high-speed darting. The material is reformulated for increased tensile strength, reducing tears and breakages and improving hook retention. It is available in a wide range of sizes, focusing on a vast array of predators in both freshwater and saltwater; from bass, perch, and pike, to seabass and trout. The Heavy Weight models have a high salt content for a more stable and balanced action in mid-water to bottom fishing.
