The highly strategic squid game, which involves manipulating and hooking squid at will, shares similarities with bass fishing.
To introduce our web members to the enjoyment of various fishing styles, we've released models for eging, ajing, and trout fishing. We're also continuing development on squid rods for 2025.
During the development and testing of a bait model for tip-run, multiple squid experts pointed out its exceptional suitability for squid metal fishing. As a result, we swiftly shifted our focus to create the 'Sidewinder Squid Metal Model.'Additionally, we're releasing a 5ft11inch spinning model, which is 10% softer and shorter than the previous version, allowing for even more precise control of the egi. Experience the thrill of the squid game, where you breathe life into your egi and skillfully hook the squid. The slightest reactions from the squid are transmitted to the rod tip, making them visible.
Ikametal model/BAIT CASTING model
This is a standard model that allows everyone from beginners to intermediate anglers to enjoy squid metal fishing. It can perform basic squid metal actions such as lift & fall and shake at a high level without any problems, and it can convey even the slightest reaction from the squid to the tip and visualize it so that you can catch it.
The blanks are flexible enough to handle unexpected parasol-sized squid and can also be used for tip-run bait games.
Tip Run Model/SPINNING model
Tip-run eging is a highly strategic game where you feel the minuscule bite of a squid on your jig with the rod tip and set the hook.
Following the Sidewinder tip-run model released in 2023, the second batch of orders is for a 5ft 11inch short-length model. By shortening the length, changes in the rod tip are more easily transmitted to your hand, resulting in higher sensitivity and responsiveness. It also offers excellent maneuverability, allowing you to impart sharp actions to your jig.
Furthermore, its handling on the boat is excellent, making it stress-free to use even on smaller boats or shared charter boats.
