This limited production run handmade wooden pencil bait from Megabass Carrozzeria primarily targets large blue fish such as bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, kingfish and yellowtail. The intense wobbling and water agitation generated during power jerking and the bubbles that envelope the whole body during dives make target fish swimming at depths of 10m and below rush towards the surface. By reducing the sideways skating motion of the lure, the straight swimming motion of a fleeing bait fish has been reproduced. This also drastically reduces missed bites. The body design removes the thick and short tail found on typical large pencil baits, adopting a slender tail design that increases responsiveness. The realistic high speed escape motions of bait fish combined with alluring fluttering and flashing captivate even the most selective tuna. The piercingφ1.6㎜ heavy duty hardened steel hooks have the power to dominate record breaking big fish. This completely handmade lure is for the record breakers out there.

The unique mouth design increases the TRIGYA PENCIL's ability to bite into water, decreasing unwanted, unintentional movements and resulting in a stable diving motion. The mouth envelopes the whole body in a layer of bubbles and attracts fish feeders from across a wide area with the lively bubbling sound that is emitted.

A slender tail design, close to that of a real bait fish, has been adopted. It has a strong appeal to even the most selective of fish eaters. The tall body design efficiently directs water flow around the forward section of the back during dives. The real foil finish emits alluring flashing during the swaying and fluttering of the flat side body.

The main wire is a φ1.6mm hardened stainless steel penetrating wire. The eye section is spot-welded and has been tested to withstand up to a 150kg load. The belly eye uses a swivel joint (NT Power Swivel 2/0) to reduce the risk of damage when twisted.
