Produced by jig master Toshifumi Kikumoto, the Cover Creeper is a compact finesse jig designed specifically for fishing in heavy cover. When conventional small rubber jigs (smaller-sized "smoraba") get snagged or lack the strength for serious cover, and when full-sized cover jigs are too bulky to trigger bites—this is the jig that gets results with high-pressure bass lurking in dense cover.

This bite-inducing compact jig not only offers outstanding snagless performance, but also features a moderate “sticking” feel, ideal for enticing strikes in key pinpoint spots. Built to handle powerful hooksets even with 16 lb line, it features a rugged hook that won’t bend or fail.

Perfectly suited for bottom dragging, bumping, or swimming through cover, the Cover Creeper delivers exceptional performance even in tough casting situations. When paired with the Antlion trailer, bottom jerking triggers a dynamic side-to-side “dog walk” action, drawing bass in from a distance.

Cover Creeper – Product Features

Tungsten Head

• Made from resin-coated tungsten with a wide, low-center-of-gravity design that resists tipping over in cover or on the bottom.

• The head shape prevents it from getting wedged into tight spaces and instead allows it to "climb over" obstacles, significantly reducing snags.

• Generates moderate stack resistance, ideal for provoking strikes in pinpoint spots.

• Weight (g) is engraved on the colored portion of the head (2.8 / 3.5 / 4.5 / 5.8 / 7 / 8.8 / 10.5).

• The opposite side features the FECO certification mark (F).

Brush Guard

• Balances snag resistance and hooking performance at a high level.

• Brush quantity varies by head weight:

  • Fewer strands for lighter models (2.8g, 3.5g, 4.5g, 5.8g) – compatible with light tackle.

  • More strands for heavier models (7g, 8.8g, 10.5g) – optimized for heavy cover.

Original Hook

• Features a custom-shaped, medium-wire gauge hook strong enough to handle aggressive fights near cover.

  • (Models 2.8g–5.8g use a slightly smaller version.)

Silicone Skirt
