JIGGER TRUST PE LINE

One of the first fishing lines to incorporate the 8-braided concept that is now standard to the PE (polyethylene) line – the Jigger Trust PE.

The reason and advantage of the white 8-braided polyethylene line in jigging. 

We examined the limits of the 4-braided line and decided on the advantages of 8-braided polyethylene line for its added strength and dependability. The strength of the new line was tested to be 10-28% stronger then former line of the same thickness.

The following are the distinguishing advantages of the Jigger Trust PE fishing line.

• Increase in line strength and stability.
• The ridges on the 8-braided PE line are very small, making the line smooth and elegant.This is a very important factor. The smoother the line, the smoother the jerk, and the smoother the overall action.
• PE fishing line hate heat. This smooth line is very little friction against line guides. This truth is effective when you fight with big fish.
• The 8-braided line maintains minimal line expansion underwater. Since there is less air between the 8 braided line than with the 4-braided line, the line sinks faster due to less swelling of the line when in the water. This helps in minimizing jig weight as well as preventing other problems such as the formation of twists and tangles, and weakness in the line.

The white color and line marking.

The Jigger Trust PE line is completely white. 

The color selection was as carefully determined as was the decision to use 8 braids. First, we ask what color was the most invisible to the fish. The answer was found in nature – fish have a white colored belly. The hint was in the obvious fact of how fish defend themselves in nature. However, don’t fish also have a black back? Well, the black color is veiled when looking into the sea, but when fish go for the bait, they look above themselves to catch bait, and so we can say that white is the color that is least visible to them. An unmarked plain white line would have actually been the most ideal, but for the fisherman, it is crucial to know the depth of the water, so we added markings every 10m/33ft. (the 50m/164ft. markings are in black). Moreover, a silicon coating was utilized instead of the normal wax coating, leading to excellent performance in jigging and for all casting games.
