Zappu Bow Head: A single jighead, endless combinations

This particular jighead is composed of a semi-football shaped head to which a wide gap hook is connected through a split ring. This brings many advantages, such as having the soft bait completely free to move. It is possible to replace the size or shape of the hook, creating endless combinations with heads of various weights. In this way, it will be possible to perfectly adapt any size of craw, shad or worm (even floating).

A tungsten head version is also available when we need more compact presentations and to generate a different sound when retrieving the lure in close contact with the rocky bottom.

But the possible uses are certainly not over. Thanks to the shape of the head and the position of the eyes, the bow head has excellent anti-snag characteristics that make it perfect for use in streams, perhaps in search of large brown trout in deep holes. By mounting a dressed hook imitating a small minnow, for example, it is possible to use the bow head as a streamer jig.

Another very effective customization is represented by the use of a rubber skirt to be added directly to the hook, transforming it into a perfect jig for the winter period. Depending on the spot or the predator's habits, it is possible to create many combinations of color, length and type of skirt.

It can also be used at mid-water to target other predators, even of significant size. It will only be necessary to increase the size of the split ring and hook and to rig a lure of your choice such as the Deps Monster Series Double Tail to target catfish during floods.
