The Balisong Minnow [SP] is a suspending jerkbait specifically designed to entice sluggish bass during periods when they are highly inactive in cold waters, making it the ideal lure from late autumn to early spring. Compared to the floating model, this version traces a deeper range with a highly responsive, high-frequency rolling action that produces dazzling flashing and an irresistible acoustic appeal. When animated with jerks, the internal moving weight system shifts, altering the center of gravity; this generates a totally unpredictable zig-zag darting action and a low-frequency, dull sound that triggers reaction bites. During pauses, the lure suspends in a natural, slightly forward-leaning posture, a position designed to prevent the front hook from snagging on the bottom. Furthermore, the V-shaped belly design and the moving weight structure ensure both excellent flight stability for long-distance casting and an immediate response to every rod twitch, even when using heavy lines or slow retrieves, reaching a maximum diving depth between 1.8m and 2m.
