Born from over 30 years of rod-building innovation and Megabass’ extensive field experience, each model is meticulously crafted by Megabass specialists to deliver a no-compromise tool dedicated to vertical cephalopod fishing.

Every detail of the rod — from the complete blank profile and guide system to the renowned patented Head-Locking System and the new patent-pending reel seat — has been developed to dramatically enhance tactile sensitivity and visual perception. The goal is to create a direct connection between angler, lure, and bottom structure, improving precision, control, and the ability to interpret underwater conditions during vertical techniques.

The baitcasting models provide a deep, natural grip between rod and reel, creating seamless integration between angler and equipment. This improves sensitivity, stability, and comfort while reducing fatigue during extended sessions.

The exclusive IFPS custom reel seat, named ITO FULL PALMING SEAT (D.PAT.P), has been engineered to provide maximum ergonomics across different grip positions, representing Megabass’ most advanced evolution in operational comfort.

The proprietary SPIRAL GUIDE layout significantly reduces blank twisting and line tangles during demanding actions. Available in both right- and left-hand configurations, this system adapts rod performance to the angler’s dominant hand while effectively counteracting torsional forces generated under heavy loads.

The spinning models designed for heavier rigs feature the patented MBCS reel seat. Inspired by the Megane Bridge, Nagasaki’s oldest stone arch bridge, its ergonomic shape provides a deep palm fit and refined sensitivity, allowing anglers to detect even the most subtle signals from the bottom.
