In the 1980’s, ARMS ushered in a new era of rod design. Born of Yuki Ito’s vision, each custom rod was handmade to exhilarate, inspire, and out-perform. This DNA gave rise to all Megabass rods that followed, and continues to evolve and inspire to this day. Driven by that same emotionally-charged spirit of performance, ARMS pushes the limits of technology, design, and angler performance to inspire Megabass craftsmen and anglers alike.

IT BEGAN WITH A NEXT DREAM.

Megabass founder Yuki Ito began hand-building custom rods over 30 years ago. His very first creation, ARMS, was a built-to-order, hand-carved and hand built rod for discerning anglers and collectors. These bespoke concept rods later inspired the birth of the DESTROYER line in 1997, and continued to serve as a dream works lab for Yuki Ito’s game-changing innovations. Each ARMS series showcases the latest evolution of Megabass’ technology, and 2015 is no different. Meet the SUPER LEGGERA.
High-density MICRO BRAIDED GRAPHITE fibers are custom tuned for each guide location to match each guide’s unique load characteristic. Adaptive multi-axis HYBRID GRAPHITE COMPOSITE blanks feature axis angles optimized to each bend point of the blank, bringing each rod to its maximum potential.
Honeycomb locking dial shows off the extremely lightweight carbon frame and offers structural integrity and maximum weight reduction.
Custom grip allows angler to cast from different angles with comfort, with a low profile trigger and ergonomic shape that will be offered in Maple Wood, Teak Wood, 4 Axis Carbon, Braided Woven Carbon and White Braided Woven Carbon.
The DRY CARBON HANDLE developed by Ito Engineering reimagines the iconic, ergonomic ARMS handle in carbon fiber, for a sleek and ultra sensitive experience. 
Center balancing spacer eliminates the gap between reel and grip to maintain ideal contact, while the oval grip-end design allows for improved double-handed cast control. A new era of ARMS is dawning.
