Bull Point Shad

Ten years after the launch of the legendary Jackhammer, Shimizu Morizo has created the trailer jig designed to maximize its performance: the Bull Point Shad. Designed specifically to integrate perfectly with the most successful chatterbait.

The design features a massive body in the front section, which tapers sharply towards the tail, ending with a thin V-shaped fin with a deep notch. This shape offers a dual advantage: it increases the overall weight for incredibly long and precise casts, without adding excessive volume that would alter the lure’s swimming action. The thick head ensures a perfect fit on the hook every time, while the pronounced grooves on the body keep the skirt well spread and vibrating, preventing it from sticking together.

The real magic happens in the tail, equipped with three joints: during slow retrieves it responds to the slightest movement, while at high speeds it releases water resistance, preventing erratic movements. The tail generates a high-frequency vibration, creating a wave and an irresistible visual effect, without slowing down the action of the blade. Made from a special high-density yet soft compound, it is scented and FECO-certified for competitions.
