Combat Rat Jr

The Combat Rat Jr. is an exceptionally effective topwater lure, designed to deliver outstanding fishing performance. Developed to capture the classic rat silhouette in a smaller size than its bigger brother, the Combat Rat, it combines advanced technologies that make it deadly for both fast, straight retrieves and precise presentations.

In the water, it produces a complex, multi-dimensional swimming action: the front section rolls while the rear section swings from side to side, pulling along a sinuous elastomer tail. The two-pin joint system and dual internal metal plates generate unique vibrations and a sharp acoustic signal with every movement. The special cavity on the front of the back traps air with each rotation, releasing bubbles and producing a distinctive surface sound.

Extremely versatile, it requires neither a dedicated rod nor heavy tackle. It can be fished perfectly with a standard Medium-Heavy (MH) rod and offers excellent buoyancy, making it compatible even with fluorocarbon leaders. This allows you to tie it on and fish it immediately without having to change your setup.
