The Goobum 4.5” by Fish Magnet is a soft bait designed to target modern bass behavior patterns, as they increasingly forage in the mid-water column. Nicknamed the "bird monster" due to its action that mimics an underwater soaring bird, its name is literally derived from "Goosebumps"—the exact feeling the development team experienced when witnessing its movement for the first time. Its complex hydrodynamics combine a unique body shape, a knife tail, a fork tail, and side arms: every element grips the water at the slightest movement, generating intense, combined underwater waves. The lower section of the body features a stabilizer keel with deep joint-like ribs, which acts as a brake during weightless (no-sinker) retrieves to prevent rolling, and doubles as a slot for inserting rattles or nail sinkers. When used for jigging, this weighted lower section amplifies the action, maximizing water displacement.
