Showerblows Shorty

The Shower Blows Shorty is the compact version of the legendary big bass killer "Shower Blows," from which it fully inherits its drawing power. The primary goal of this version was to create a lure capable of provoking the strike in situations where the original model, despite being an excellent search bait, might be too intrusive.

With its 10.5cm and 16.3g, the Shorty maintains the series' casting performance intact, thanks to the tungsten weight concentrated in the tail.

The effectiveness of the Shorty lies in its head design (bill design): the inner part forcefully pushes the water forward, creating a continuous flow of bubbles, while the outer part strikes the water sideways with every oscillation. This dual hydrodynamic action ensures a constant walk-the-dog motion and a highly attractive bubble trail.

The rattle system is a studied mix of low and high-frequency sounds: the large tungsten rattle positioned posteriorly generates a low thud that calls bass from afar, while the steel balls produce a higher-pitched sound (cracker sound) that mimics the vibrations of a distressed fish.

Furthermore, the Shorty adopts a three-hook system (3 hook system) to maximize the hook-up rate. The tail hook is the Treble Magic Feather #6, which combines natural feathers and scintillating tinsel. This element adds an irresistible visual appeal when the lure is paused, and also supports the lure's suction during less aggressive strikes.
