Born from over 5 years of development and refinement, the DRT ARTEX “R2” GEN3 represents the ultimate choice for those seeking maximum precision, responsiveness and sensitivity in big bait techniques. Built on an ultra-sensitive blank that skillfully combines medium- to high-modulus carbon, this fast progressive-action rod features the renowned taper of the original “RazzleDazzle” model, taking it to a new level of performance.
The responsive tip and overall balance of the rod allow you to immediately detect changes in current, contact with structure and bottom irregularities, even at long distances. This versatility makes it ideal not only for active swimbaiting, but also for more technical approaches such as worming and deep heavy cranking.
One of the main new features of the GEN3 is the new J-GRIP in a Straight configuration, redesigned to further improve ergonomics and control. Eliminating the break present in the previous split grip prevents interference with the forearm, offering a more natural grip and an immediate response during jerks and aggressive retrieves, even with lures such as the Klash9.
