A super-elastic jigging rod featuring the IKARI Blank (Patent No. 7061787). The FOKEETO IKARI is a super-elastic offshore jigging rod developed around ZENAQ’s innovative proprietary technology: the IKARI Blank. Until now, such thin blanks were never able to offer such high recovery speed and durability—characteristics that make the IKARI ideal for every jigging technique. It is no longer necessary to carry multiple rods to properly animate different types of jigs: the IKARI excels with any lure, from short, slow jigs to semi-long and long jigs.
The IKARI also allows you to target large fish using more compact and lightweight setups, thanks to the blank's extraordinary elastic limits. Universal Jig Control
The high elasticity and sensitivity of the IKARI make it perfect for any jigging style. Whether it’s slow-pitch or high-pitch jigging, the rod's ideal action and smooth recovery transmit the best possible movement to the jig. In the past, multiple rods dedicated to different jigging techniques were required; today, thanks to the revolutionary IKARI project, a single rod can replace an entire arsenal of older-generation models.
The blank's rapid recovery accelerates the jig's movement through the water, enhancing its action and allowing you to explore the water column more effectively without increasing effort during the fishing day. In this way, the IKARI allows you to save precious energy to dedicate to the fight with the fish. Thanks to the IKARI's carbon core, you no longer have to worry about rod breakage during the fight, as can happen with traditional high-modulus tubular graphite blanks.
