The "Huge Custom" series was created as a true "monster rod", developed not only for record-size bass, but to take on every kind of giant fish in waters all around the world.
Designed by DEPS with a philosophy that prioritizes over sensitivity and torque over lightness, this powerful blank structure is built to never break in front of the strength of big fish. At the same time, its character has been refined to guarantee maximum versatility and extreme "holding" of power under heavy loads.
To fully exploit its performance, a spiral guide system was also developed, compatible with braided lines and reinforced with double-wrapping guide bindings to ensure maximum durability and strength.
For global big game fishing, the series also include multi-pieces models, designed to work around logistical issues during international travels, supporting anglers in the persuit of the world's most extreme fish.
The "Huge Custom" is a rod for pure combat: a tool born to face and dominate encounters that look more like huting than simple fishing.

A regular fast XXX heavy tip of a flexible type that doesn't impede the lure's movements. Thanks to an excellent torsion, it develops a massive casting power, capable of easily recovering 10 oz. big baits. Its extreme adaptability, according to the blank employed, guarantees excellent reaction times with big baits, starting from regular sizes right up to super heavy weights. In a few words, a flagship huge custom model that outperforms all other rods thanks to a super long cast that is extremely valid even when operating in cover conditions with frog lures. In these cases castability and accuracy are required, as well this rod’s proverbial manoeuvrability.
