The Type R fully embodies this spirit and represents ZENAQ’s flagship model.

The reel seat structure is made from high-strength, long-fiber TORAYCA® carbon, molded through a special process that ensures maximum rigidity and stability even when using large-sized reels.

The special rubber coating improves comfort and grip, making the rod action more natural and precise while eliminating unnecessary effort.

The hexagonal design of the Hexagon Reel Seat minimizes lateral reel movement, transmitting power without dispersion and reducing hand fatigue during the fight.

A special rubber cushion in the reel foot support area prevents loosening and vibrations even under the most extreme fishing conditions, creating perfect integration between rod and reel.

Compatible with current Daiwa and Shimano reels. Compatibility with other brands is not guaranteed, and improper installation may cause damage to the reel seat or the reel foot.
